WorldCup Kicking Off Tonight

The first match of the ET WorldCup 2007 group stage is going to kick off tonight between Portugal and Denmark! Portugal as favourite team in this match will play against the lower seeded Denmark who first had to play and win their qualifier match against Slovakia (4-2).

Portugal have been praccing hard the last days and will be ready to take this game home tonight. After their win against the UK in a showmatch some time ago they already showed that they're able to show a good performance. Their team consists of some known players such as sexyhot who played on the CPC2 with Auxilia, but also eC4 players kMt and Koto, Yes, Koto who has been accused of cheating lately. This team has the teamplay and the potentional to put up a good fight tonight.

Denmark will be the underdog in their first group match. With their Poule D seeding after winning against Slovakia in the qualifiers they will not be the favoutires this game, altrough the team of Denmark could lineup experienced players such as gyzr and Arachon who both played on the CPC2, but also less known players such as Fisken and Fryzer who could make a difference. Denmark wasn't sure of participating this year, but we're happy to have them in and we're looking forward for a nice opening match.
